Comhghairdeas! - Representing Co. Fermanagh in Cumann na mBunscol All-Ireland National Sports Quiz Final 2026
Our entire school community extends many congratulations to Senan, Odhrán, Conor and Rónán, as you were crowned proud winners of Cumann na mBunscol Fhear Manach Sports Quiz Final 2026! We pay tribute also to Sadhbh, Cladagh and Doireann, for your wonderful support in a whole myriad of ways.
Having travelled to Holy Trinity Primary School, Enniskillen to participate in the Fermanagh schools’ competitions, our tremendous team emerged victorious in this, the second year of the Sports Quiz Final. It is an impressive feat to emulate our team from 2025 and capture the title for the second successive year. In addition to being crowned Fermanagh winners, these wonderful young people will now go forward to compete as Fermanagh’s representatives in the All-Ireland Naisiunta/National Quiz Final on Sunday, 22nd March. This final will take place in the Tullamore Court Hotel, Tullamore, Co. Offaly. Our school’s collective best wishes, pride and thoughts will surely travel with our students, parents and teachers on 22nd. As ever, you will represent your families, school, Club, parish and county with distinction, honour and pride.
Our team also very much looks forward to participating in the Cumann na mBunscol Uladh/Ulster Final General Quiz in the time ahead, as one of Fermanagh’s three representative schools. Once again, congratulations and best wishes! We take this opportunity, also, to send our best wishes to the young people from St Mary’s Primary School, Killesher and St Ninnidh’s Primary School, Derrylin for the Final Uladh.
We convey a very special word of thanks and appreciation to our wonderful parents and grandparent for your support, dedication and assistance, today. We also extend much appreciation to our school staff, Mr Brian Treacy and Holy Trinity PS, and the Officers and staff of Cumann na mBunscol Fhear Manach and Cumann na mBunscol Naisiunta, for all your support, passion and interest in promoting our cherished Gaelic culture, tradition and games. Go raibh maith agat.
