Last Friday, our Primary Five class travelled to St Michael’s College, Enniskillen for their first ever school’s Gaelic Blitz. Thankfully, the weather was on our side and the children enjoyed a number of games in their respective groups.
Our Team B went on to win the final in their category, against a very strong Roslea. They also played against Holy Trinity, Aughdramsee and Lisnaskea.
Team A faced tough competition from Irvinestown, Dromore and Lisnaskea also. There was great support on the sidelines and a great sense of camaraderie, amongst the boys and girls.
A special word of thanks to Mrs Donohoe and Mrs Gunn, for their support in helping supervise the class.
Well done to all and we hope it is the first of many successes, representing St Mary’s Primary School!
