A few weeks ago, pupils from Primary Five were very excited to welcome a real-life firefighter to school!
Officer McCrystal talked to us about her important job and how the Fire Service help keep people safe. We learned what to do if there’s ever a fire, how to stay safe at home and even got to see some of the special equipment they use every day.
It was a fantastic visit full of interesting facts, brilliant questions, and lots of smiles. Each child received a gift pack to take home, to help spread awareness of the potential dangers that can cause fire.
A huge thank you to our local fire service for coming to see us and for teaching us so much about fire safety.
