St Mary’s made a colourful and dazzling start to Anti -Bullying week, by wearing odd socks. This initiative, which indeed was adopted by many schools across the county, highlights the diversity and uniqueness of each child.
This year’s theme was ‘Make a Noise’. Children had numerous opportunities throughout the week, to discuss the importance of speaking up and who they can turn to, should they ever need any help. Our pupils are highly aware, that here in St Mary’s, we support each other and understand the significance and impact of treating everyone with respect.
Pupils from across all key stages, enjoyed creative activities such as designing odd socks and posters, in addition to working in pairs and groups to encourage healthy discussion around this very important topic.
